At We Love Aesthetics we can only remove moles that have been checked by a specialist and deemed safe for removal without the need for histology. The must be done prior to seeing us and we will require a doctor / dermatologist letter detailing that the mole is healthy and can be removed for cosmetic reasons only.

Removal is usually permanent

We use state of the art Plasma technology, no blades and therefore no stitches are required meaning quicker healing times

• Immediately after treatment apply a thin layer of yellow paraffin or Vaseline as this will act as a temporary barrier for the first couple of hours and until the wound has fully coagulated

• Leave it alone to form a scab

• Do not cover with a plaster

• No swimming until completely healed

• Do not cover in make-up

• The scab may be present for up to two weeks (depending on the size of the lesion removed)

• As soon as the scab flakes it is normal to have hypopigmentation on the area. SPF50 is a must – the pigmentation will settle over the coming months

• No sun exposure as the scar tissue could turn silver

Topical numbing cream is used, clients rate the discomfort level of this treatment as Mild.
